The AbsoluteWrite Battle Continues

AbsoluteWrite is back. Well, almost. They have a new site though the entire forum is not yet restored. Give em time. Writers are a tenacious lot. We have to be. Look at all the crap we have to put with.

You have to wonder about BBs strategy in all this. I mean, would you want to piss off a bunch of writers? And her actions in pulling down AbsoluteWrite has certainly pissed them off in a big way. The list of Bloggers-Against-BB is growing in leaps and bounds. Miss Snark is on her case. As is the Grumpy Old Bookman. I’ve heard that Neil Gaiman is on it as well. L. M. Ashton has been maintaining a list on her blog Peregrinas, and it’s a very long list.

Me thinks BB is going to long for the days when her biggest problem was being on the 20 Worst Agents list.

  1. Thanks for linking to me! Um, but for accuracies sake, I copied the list from http://kiraconnally.com/blog/ with her permission.

It’s nice to know there’s such a huge community of writers against the actions of the ugly, the putrid, the brainless - scammerz.
