SECRETS OF THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE
(originally titled: The Great Golden Gate Bridge Trivia Book, Chronicle Books, 1987).
All the books you’ll find on the Golden Gate Bridge cover the building of it only. This book, in a tongue-in-cheek, anecdotal way, is a bit of pre-history, does cover the building of the bridge as well as the opening day, and all of the weird things that have happened on the bridge up until it’s 50th birthday, including some of the more interesting suicides (though not the real morbid ones. Those I left out.). If you’re into the lore of the GGB, this is the only place you’ll get it.
